Royal park resort is a luxury hotel overlooking the river and mountains. Hadimba or dhungiri temple in manali is one of the greatest important temples in the region. This four-story wooden temple is located in the middle of a forest called the dhungiri van vihar. Manali is well connected to newish delhi by road via national highway no. 21, which extends to leh and is the world's highest drivable road. The nearest railheads to manali are kalka (280 kms), chandigarh (310 kms), pathankot (325 kms), and ambala (355 kms). The airport in bhuntar is 50 kilometers from manali.
