General Description
:
The hotel suraj is a 500 year old haveli and is the only and biggest residential of its amiable in the jaisalmer fort. The haveli is run by a “vyas family” (brahmin religion) which has been living in the same haveli for the last 17 generations.Situated in the south east corner of the “trikuta hill” the haveli hotel suraj is close by to the world legendary jain temples. From the roof top eatery you can enjoy a marvelous 360 degree view of the jaisalmer fort and have breakfast, lunch, snacks, tea &44 coffee or dinner. Hotel service includes: laundry; car &44 motorbike and cycle rental; newspapers; money exchange; doctor on call; train &44 bus and air reservations; camel jeep safari booking...There is a shop adjoining the hotel that offers internet, fax, isd and cd burning.
